So, about a year or more ago, I found a happy little hashtag on twitter... #horrorhaikuesday
I found the haiku there delightful and the grand dame, ringleader, hostess with the mostest of the hashtag charming. Using the haiku as an inspiration for her art, Jeanette Andromeda of horrormade.com had created a community of poets, artists and horror aficionados. I soon joined in (which is highly amusing to me; I am not a horror fan in general. I'm a big ole scaredy cat with an overactive imagination who likes sleeping sans nightmares.)
I'm so glad I did as I have loved seeing the work she has created using others words and, on occasion, my own.
This week was a special treat as Jeanette drew inspiration from one of my previous poems for her artwork, and this week's writers are using her artwork as a prompt to create more haiku. It's like a giving tree of creativity.
I feel so honored to have been included and am proud to share with you lovely people who peruse this page on occasion.
